Students will tour the studio, learn how kilns work, and create their very own pinch pot—a small clay bowl made completely by hand. Each bowl will be carefully glazed and fired in the kiln. From a fascinating human anatomy exhibit to a life-size Tabernacle, the Age of the Earth cave, and an exciting dinosaur discovery zone—there is so much to see and learn! Our students had the opportunity to go behind the scenes at a local police station and see firsthand what it truly means to serve and protect our community. From learning about daily police operations to meeting dedicated officers and staff, our students asked thoughtful questions, explored real tools and technology, and gained a deeper appreciation for the many roles within law enforcement. Even without whale sightings, our 3rd–5th graders had an amazing time spotting dolphins, soaking in the salty air, and experiencing God’s creation in such a special way. Seeing so many dolphins swim alongside the boat filled the day with excitement, wonder, and joy!
