Join us for a guided tour through the incredible Getty Museum, where students will experience world-class works of art and explore the stories behind them.

From ancient pieces to masterful paintings, this is a wonderful opportunity to grow in appreciation, curiosity, and understanding of the visual arts.

Opened in 1997, the Getty was created to preserve and share art of exceptional quality and historical significance—and we’re excited to experience it together as a community.
Come ready to observe, ask questions, and be inspired.

He is risen 🤍 This weekend, we pause and remem He is risen 🤍

This weekend, we pause and remember the greatest gift ever given the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus!

In a world that moves fast, Easter gently reminds us what matters most:
hope that never fades,
grace we didn’t earn,
and love that never fails.
Because of Him, we are not who we once were, we have new life, we have hope today and forever.

As you celebrate with your families, we pray your homes are filled with peace, joy, and the quiet reminder that He is alive… and He is faithful.

Happy Easter from our CHS family to yours 🤍

If you’re homeschooling a child who struggles wi If you’re homeschooling a child who struggles with frequent meltdowns, big emotions, difficulty with attention, organization, or coping with everyday demands—you are not alone. Many deeply committed parents find themselves wondering if there’s something more going on and where they can turn for help.

We’re grateful to host Stacy Olney, a Christian professional and friend of our community from Crest Avenue Baptist Church, for a free online webinar designed to encourage and support homeschool families.

“Unlocking Your Child’s God-Given Potential: Recognizing Developmental Needs and Finding Faith-Aligned Support for Homeschooling.”

In this gentle and practical conversation, Stacy will help parents:
✨ Recognize subtle signs of developmental challenges
✨ Explore resources and interventions that respect your Christian worldview
✨ Learn simple, achievable ways to support their child’s growth
✨ Reduce the stress that can sometimes accompany the homeschooling journey

This webinar is especially for busy parents who may not know what support is available or what steps to take next.
Every child is uniquely created by God with purpose and potential—and sometimes a little guidance can make the path forward clearer.

We hope you’ll join us. 🤍

There is something deeply humbling about Ephesians There is something deeply humbling about Ephesians 3:15–19—a beautiful reminder that everything begins and ends with Him.

We are not the source.
Not of our children’s salvation,
their success,
their calling,
or even their future.
God is.

And while that truth can feel weighty at first, it is actually incredibly freeing—because the responsibility was never ours to carry.

Our role is faithfulness.
To pray.
To love.
To point them to Christ.
His role is transformation.

Thank you, Mrs. Christine, President of the Board, for sharing about the fullness of God and what that can look like in our daily lives. Thank you for your encouragement and for this timely reminder as you helped set a tone of engagement for our final all-school meeting of the year.

We are so thankful for each one of our speakers, they each encouraged, inspired and equipped us for the final stretch of our homeschool year.
Color, curiosity, and creation on full display at Color, curiosity, and creation on full display at Nature School!

Our students spent the day exploring the beauty of God’s design through hands-on science. We investigated light and discovered how chromatography can separate colors hidden within everyday materials.

Students went on a butterfly walk, tasted iridescent lemonade, experimented with chromatography, and made the light spectrum visible using CDs, bubbles, and prisms. Each activity helped bring science to life in a fun and memorable way.
It was a day full of wonder, discovery, and joyful learning together.

At CHS, learning comes to life when children are free to explore, observe, and ask questions about the world God created.
