We had so much fun learning about pottery at the M We had so much fun learning about pottery at the Mud Hut! On our field trip, students explored the art of pottery from start to finish — taking a guided tour, watching clay come to life on the pottery wheel, and creating their very own pinch pots to take home. As we worked with the clay, we were reminded of the beautiful picture in Jeremiah of the potter and the clay and how the potter carefully shapes and forms each piece with purpose. What a meaningful way to reflect on being shaped by the Master Potter while creating something of our own! #HandsOnLearning #FieldTripFun #PotterAndClay #FaithAndLearning #myCHShomeschool

Our 3-5th grade students will experience history through the eyes of the Tongva people, the original inhabitants of this area. They will participate in hands-on activities—like grinding seeds, using a pump drill, exploring native tools, and even play some interactive games. Students will learn how the Tongva used natural resources to build homes, gather food, create clothing, and prepare medicine and discover why the river and wetlands were essential to daily life. #christianheritagecorona #myCHShomeschool #christianhomeschool
